And you can help!!!

Save Your Aluminum Cans For The Entire Month of April!!!

To Help the Earth & Raise Money for CHES!!!

Bring your Aluminum Cans to CHES on Wed. April 27th & Thurs. April 28th!!!

Smith Iron & Metal Company will deliver the Aluminum Can Collection Bin on April 27th at 9am. The collection bin will be picked up on April 28th at 4:30pm.

So Please…
Keep Your Aluminum Cans in a Separate Bag or Container & Drop Them Off Any Time In The Aluminum Can Bin on April 27th & April 28th!!!

CHES Earth Day Celebration   

Monday, April 11th:
CHES Earth Day Celebration Kick Off!

  • Poster & Poem Project: Illustrate a poster or write a poem about “How can we make Earth Day Every Day!” Projects will be collected all month long and will be displayed around the school.
Tuesday, April 12th: Conservation Day!
  • Please make every effort to conserve Energy, Water, Paper Towel & other Resources!!!
Wednesday, April 13th: Wear Earth Day Colors!

  • Show your Earth Friendliness by wearing Blue, Green, or Brown!

 Thursday, April 14th:
                                Writing Instruments Recycle Day!

  • Bring old/used pencils, pens, markers, Sharpies, & dry erase markers in a Ziploc Bag & drop them in the marked bins as you enter school this morning!!!

 Friday, April 15th: Glue Sticks/Bottles Recycle Day!

  • Bring old/dried out glue sticks and glue bottles to recycle & drop them in the marked bins as you enter school this morning!!!

  Monday, April 25th: Help CHES Be Clean Day!

  • Please consider picking up trash during recess time and/or in the classroom. By Helping CHES Be Clean, You Are Being More Green!!!

 Tuesday, April 26th: Earth Friendly Lunch Day!

 Wednesday, April 27th: Walk to School Day!

  • If you can, walk to school and promote a more Healthy & Green Lifestyle!

 Thursday, April 28th: Aluminum Cans Recycle Day!

  • Bring aluminum cans in a tied grocery bag & drop them in the marked bins as you enter school this morning!!!
