CHES IS REALLY MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!!! |
Do you have separate collection bins in your cafeteria for your TerraCycle items or is it collected in one bin and separated after the fact?
ReplyDeleteWe have three separate bins for the TerraCycle items. One for the drink pouches, one for the lunch kits, and one for the chip bags. Having everything already separated is a big time saver!! We also have a fourth bin in the cafeteria as well for aluminum and plastic(#s 1 & 2).
ReplyDeleteCHES is very excited to have a TFC Recycling Bin on site now which enables our school to recycle everything that is collected with "curbside" recycling.
The bin was delivered yesterday!!!
How often are the TerraCycle bins collected?
ReplyDeleteThe TerraCycle bins are collected daily and we prep the drink pouches and lunch kits for shipping. Thanks for your question!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a great bunch of parent volunteers to make that happen. Keep up the great work!
